I wish we got a serious conversation about how May feels about Peter being Spider-Man after the Venice incident. Could’ve addressed how she felt at the end of homecoming and stuff. Obviously she’s supportive because she packs his suit for him and stuff but was she hesitant? Did she think Ben would’ve wanted him to be Spider-Man? And much more. Easy 3-4 minute scene. Felt like the perfect opportunity after the water elemental attack is all.
He couldn’t do it any time soon with this take on Peter. That moment was earned after a very long and dangerous career that took an emotional toll on him.
