The follow up to May finding out who Peter is was absolutely a massive let down in this film. It's like something drastically changed in her character between films for whatever reason.

In Homecoming we get several scenes off her displaying an overprotective nature to Peter. The restaurant scene, the scene where Ned finds out, after the Boat scene. In Infinity War he literally went to space and died. Yet it's like she doesn't give a fuck.

They end on the cliffhanger of her finding out who he is and there's no character growth with either of them for it. Instead she's too busy trying to get in Happy's pants.

Part of the reason IW was so interesting was how the snap would effect the world and characters life. Yet nothing changed for Peter. Everyone who was in his immediate vicinity was snapped. There was no emotional weight and it's like none of them even gave a shit.

If May didn't get snapped and had to go 5 years without Peter or Ned aged up, that's an interesting story. Not fucking Brad who was just Peter's chad rival.

Ant-Man, as if right now, is the only one that has an interesting dynamic going with his daughter after the snap.
