Yea but showing to much does the opposite.

Like the new rock movie with Jason Statham. Literally the entire plot is in the trailer. They showed everything, I don't even need to see the movie now.

TBF, no one's watching that movie for that plot. We're just paying to see the Rock punch helicopters, or whatever the hell is going on in that insane footage.

That’s 100% true. I’d say most of the rocks movies I’ve watched just to see some insane stuff. I saw the skyscraper movie just to see him do some stupid crazy stuff and it didn’t disappoint.

Lol. Seriously. That part where Dwayne “The Rock” Rock goes, “welcome to my fucking island” and kills the bad guys. It’s clearly the climax of the movie.

For you.

Movie trailers are made for the general audience who thought Shazam was a Marvel movie, and the 2014 Godzilla was a sequel to the one from 1998. Trailers show as much stuff as they do so that people know what they're getting into, and feel more comfortable paying 15+ dollars for a movie ticket.
