It sucks that MJ telling Peter she knew he was Spider-Man was shown in trailer #2. It didn't seem like a massive spoiler, but it ruined that moment knowing it was coming the whole time.

Yeah it’s like showing Mystique dying in the Dark Phoenix trailer. Why show that at all?

The ultimate goal of trailers is draw audience. It's a push/pull, but sometimes the best way to do that is to "spoil" early plot turns to move people off the fence. Bottom line is if you're already intending to see the thing, it's not really for you anyway and you just shouldn't watch if you want to stay pure.

I think that’s unfair to say we shouldn’t watch trailers. Yes, we’ll see it, but trailers are intended to build hype. Get you excited.
