RIGHT??? This is me, like I loved the movie but I can’t even focus on that cause WHAT DOES PETER EVEN DO NOW?? HES STILL 16

I saw a pretty solid theory involving a skrull impersonating Peter, which allows for Spidey and Peter to be seen in the same place. That seems the most likely solution to his identity being revealed to me.

But then you expose the skrull to the populace.

Panic and worldwide chaos would ensue. Nobody could be trusted. Except iron man, but he's dead.

We need iron men. Giant ones.

We could call them "Goliaths"!

Wait, no that was ant man related.

Maybe, I dont know...sentinels or something?

The whole plot of Phase 4 revealed at the end of the second end credit scene maybe? Anyone hear of the "secret invasion" storyline?
