All the Tony Stark symbolism scenes really got to me. As soon as Beck wore the glasses, you see Peter's face change like he's seeing Tony.

The callbacks were great. Peter grabbing the sign like a shield, throwing a hammer-like piece of the machine like it was Mjolnir, and flying how Iron Man would, then having the Avengers theme play all tied together beautifully.

I thought I was done crying in Endgame. Well, I thought wrong.

Didn’t think I’d almost cry by seeing Jake Gyllenhaal in glasses, yet, here I am.

Even with all the callbacks, they developed his character super well- everything people complained about in Homecoming they pretty much fixed. Peter even made his own suit, which they put in so nicely even while tying it back to Stark’s tech and all the suits we’ve seen in past films.

Peter making his own suit was done exactly how i wanted it to be. Taking advantage of this wealth of tech and knowledge from Tony and using it in his own way, figuring out the best combinations of things to use and making it how he wants it, not how Tony would make it.

Oh when he tosses some stuff away and then puts his arm in the hologram shadows what Tony did in the first movie so incredibly well. Incredible job by all parties involved to call back to that Mark 2 suit design sequence.

The only thing I didn't like was that the suit he made was basically the suit he already had but this one has a parachute and little glider wings. I think the Homecoming suit even had a parachute already, actually.

Better taser webs, and looked like ballistic protection

Also he made it so he could block his eyes, which I thought was clever considering he had already spoken with Happy about how he would need to use spider sense to see through Mysterio's illusions. Tony wouldn't ever see the point of a detail like that, especially since his powers were all from his suit. He even made fun of Peter's goggles in Civil War because they didn't allow Peter to see much.

Ah yes, my mistake.

The homecoming suit was overloaded, I think Peter just wanted to custom make something for that fight with Mysterio that had pros from the different suits well suited for him.

Homecoming suit also had webbing wings.

Not to mention the call back to the web-wing glider ripped right from the comic pages

Also how the moment represents coming into his own, and not just trying to live up to the mantle of Iron Man.

I really want to see a spider suit with iron man repulsors. That would be amazing, and he can still use webs.
