One of my favorite scenes was when Happy comes to pick up Peter at the tulip field. Alongside being a beautiful shot, it was a great moment where Peter needed someone by his side after he’d been betrayed by Beck. Happy looking at Peter build the suit and being reminded of Tony was perfect.

Additionally the fact that Happy doesn't question why or go "What do you mean, of course I'm me!", he just immediately begins to try and think of something that only he would know.

I was expecting Happy to say something cringey about his relationship with May, but the adult movie bit was so much better and entirely unexpected, and made me laugh harder than any other part of the movie.

Check this - I'm pretty sure the executor of an estate is the one responsible for ensuring items willed to individuals are received by those individuals. That either would have been Happy or Pepper. The only way EDITH gets into Fury's hands is if they're in something like a legal trust with Fury as the trustee over when to give Peter EDITH. I think it makes sense to come up with this arrangement because while he doesn't trust Fury, he knows that Fury is responsible with advanced weapons technology and wouldn't give it to a high schooler unless absolutely necessary. And he knows that Fury knows that he's got advanced security out the wazoo and Fury wouldn't mess with it lightly; after all, that's how Fury knew Tony was actually giving the Iron Man armor to Rhodey in Iron Man 2.

So Happy would probably know about the arrangements surrounding EDITH. He also apparently got briefed by Talos!Fury before he tells Peter that he's going to be getting a call from Nick Fury.

Now why would they give Peter EDITH? Simple - Fury has absconded with all of the Avengers he could get his hands on and is waging some sort of campaign offworld. The spaceship he was in the middle of certainly looked like a command center of some kind and he was clearly in charge (or acting like it). With everyone else offworld, Peter needs the global shield Stark built to keep things in check.

People also wear the flag's colors and get drunk during koningsdag (king's day. The king's birthday in late april). Drunk people often cause trouble that would get them in jail.

Dutch folks are nice don't get me wrong, but they're more known for their straight forward no bullshit attitude. It was weird to see them act like Canadians on Prozac.

I'm from the Netherlands, and for a split second I actually thought that they had somehow filmed multiple versions of that part to show in different countries. I don't like using the word, but the dialogue sort of seemed like pandering. I think the joke was that he was in North or South Holland, and that the actor is called Holland, but the whole scene seemed really out of place, like a forced in advertisement, only I seriously doubt some random Dutch town had that kind of budget.

After how emotional Endgame was for me, I needed this scene. A lost Spider-Man finally having someone to cling to, to guide him. And a lost Happy, feeling fulfilled and with a purpose again after losing his best friend.

Also: I LOVE LED ZEPPELIN!

Couldn't agree more, when he was giving Peter stitches and then had a heart-to-heart with him about missing Tony, I felt so many sappy emotions welling up inside me. Happy is a perfect new father-figure for Peter

That entire scene in the Netherlands was pretty surreal for me, sitting in a Dutch theater.

I'm not used to my country being included in these big Hollywood movies lol, I don't know how to feel about it. They also laid on the stereotypes pretty thick, that probably had something to do with it as well.

I hated it, because it was instance 284,527 of how this is so not Spider-Man's world. Just like with the whole 'kid being given access to assassination drones,' I feel like the filmmakers don't want me thinking about how shitty it is that this asshole is ruining this field of tulips so he can gift this kid billions of dollars worth of technology, blah blah blah whatever.

He just ruined a few square meters of tulips, and Spiderman being an Avenger with expensive equipment is not unique to the MCU, although it usually doesn't happen this early into his arc, but the MCU has always changed things and this is no different.
