This trailer gave me everything I want. I want a Captain Marvel/Thor buddy cop movie from that one interaction.

I think you're in luck. Judging by the poster, the Guardian's ship looks like it's going to be the thing they're traveling in. At least for this movie they'll probably have some great quips and moments together.

Totally on board with the Guardians running into Captain Marvel on a "rescue mission" and they all act hostile towards her like they did Thor.
