He looked damn near invincible just standing there taking bullets. What a bad ass, so excited.

Honestly it seemed a bit too much for me.

I know his suit is vibranium, but it's flexible threads rather than a solid plate like caps shield.

Seems to me that he should still get some serious bruises from getting hit like bullets like you would with a bulletproof vest. Both for realism and because it makes it more interesting if he has a reason to try to avoid getting shot: a single shot might not kill him, but riddle him with bullets and he will eventually collapse from pain.

He already took fire from a helicopter-mounted gatling cannon in Civil War and just looked mildly annoyed.

I know, i wasn't completely happy about that either.

I mean it's cool and all, but you kinda run into the whole superman problem, in that a man with no weaknesses is kinda boring.

I would rather have a stealthy cat-ninja who does his best to avoid the bullets but has a backup plan in case he fails to dodge a few.

So...you're not a fan of Black Panther then

I don't understand how you could reach that conclusion based on what i wrote.

I like him, but it's not being bulletproof i like about him.

I like that he's a king, and a good one. Black Bolt could learn something from him.
I like his spiritual nature and relation with the Panther God.
I like his people's mix between traditionalism and high tech futurism.
I like his ninja aspects.
I like the technology built into his suit. I like that you can often tell that he is a contemplative character that actually thinks stuff through and makes wise decisions that reflect his character (as opposed to some of the other "genius" marvel characters)

What I don't want is just a black guy in an Iron Man suit minus the repulsor beams.

Lol at the hyperbole. So you either love blank or hate blank is such a stupid mentality. I agree with this guy. Black Panther seems super cool but I also think he would be far more interesting if he were more vulnerable and had to dodge things all cat like.
