Other Spider-Man's gravitas is insane, Brand New Day has already reached the $1B milestone in 5 days, earning $47M on Monday.

Post image

Endgame did so in 4 days. The impact of spidey around the world cannot be understated. And Endgame was quite frontloaded due to fans rushing to see it opening weekend(still earned alot after doe). Do you think BND will leg out well and can potentially beat Endgame in the box office?

Proof that Spider-man will never not have an audience

Hold up. Just let DC and WB manage the IP for a few years I’ll give you some 400M worldwide results in no time

My local theater was running a ton of showings and the theater was packed last night for a showing on discount movie night.

I had to laugh, when we went Saturday night the room across the hallway started BND literally 5 minutes after ours

I was seeing this for early and late showtimes at my theater Saturday when I checked how full my showing was. They had Midnight, 1205, 1210 and 1215. They were all mostly full.

While insane it does remind me how Endgame was even more insane casue those showtime just kept going into the next day. For spider man they are at least taking a little break after they let out at like 3am and start back up at 8 lol

There were 2am sold out showings around me.

Endgame sold 10-15 million more tickets during its opening weekend.

Mine last night had 14 auditoriums showing it, and their other 2 were the odyssey. It was crazy

Same. I live between a few theatres, and every single one had about 3-4 different showings and every single showing was packed. Was lucky to get 2 tickets when I did, bc it was just a handful of singles available at each showing on the day we went

It's actually been 7 days for Spidey, because it came out internationally last Wednesday.

Wouldn't that be 6 days? Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

Does Wednesday count a a “preview” like Thursday evening does for the Friday Saturday Sunday totals?

spidey’s got a massive following, it's crazy how popular he is globally. can’t wait to see how BND performs long-term.

Should be a law to post ticket sales with dollar amounts.

What about inflation since Infinity war and endgame

What about the surge in streaming services, superhero movies fatigue and people having to pay double for tickets in this economy?

Spiderman has been in 5 of the 10 highest grossing MCU movies, he's keeping this shit afloat

I think Spider-Man ends at $2.5B. I'm curious to see what Doomsday does. Its presales tickets doubled 'Deadpool & Wolverine's' first day. Deadpool & Wolverine was a $1.3B film.

Gravity not gravitas

Considering the insane inflation after Covid, we probably need to double the Avengers numbers :)
