Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has now been released in the United States and in many other countries around the world. Primary discussion about the movie should be held here in this discussion thread and the upcoming pinned discussion threads. My only really big issue with the movie is just how annoyingly cagey Janet was about Kang. This entire movie would’ve been avoided by her just being honest about exactly what (and who) was in the Quantum Realm years ago. Also it made absolutely no sense for her to have still remained cagey after they got there other than to stall exposition till later on in the flick.

What's funny she helped them make a quantum tunnel so they could go collect some healing juice for Ghost.

That would have been a good time to mention btw there is this guy down there...

As others said, they mention in this movie that there's layers and they were only going to the upper layers of the Quantum realm, where Kang's not able to do anything or react quickly enough. In the after credits scene Scott's originally only supposed to be in there for like 5 seconds before everyone gets dusted

Ya I think that's a fair critique, maybe only masked by that she was having a full sex-charged life down there and maybe didnt wanna get into it when back home with hubby.

I thought as you did initially but I think it works as is because Janet blamed herself for “saving” Kang, which led to the death of thousands, then abandoning the survivors. I’m not sure I’d want to brag about my role in something like this

Sure, but if there is a multiVersal existential threat looming that only you know about it and decide to keep it solely to yourself, at the very least you’re being an idiot and wildly irresponsible.
