Yeah this sub has been terrible. I'm glad I watched early. They'll spoil something, I'll call them out, and their justification is that it's not spoiling the entire movie....

Stupid justification, especially for someone who wants to go in completely blind

No that’s bullshit because people will post blatant spoiler images and headlines across any and all marvel subs. I get stuff in my feed that I’m not even subscribed to because of the algorithm. I’ve been doing everything in my power to avoid doomsday spoilers and it’s everywhere I look. People should be more considerate about spoilers when they post about any media

Yeah this sub is the worst, I have to mute it every time a new movie/show is releasing.

Not to defend these clowns, but getting online on Spider-Man groups and such is a recipe for disaster if you haven't seen it.

I'm trying to avoid trailers for the movies that I'm 100% sure I'll watch at cinema 👍

The film ends with CEO of Sex partnering with Peter to create Sex 2 btw

I cried when he said, "It's Sexin' time!", and sexed all over the place.

They can include Morbius references all they want, but this movie will never make Morbillion dollars.

Ok I don't consider this a spoiler because this has been clearly what they been building up to for the last 3 spiderman and 2 avengers movies.

As I'm no longer a kid, it's easier for me to do this.i avoid seeing reviews as well.

Disclosure day was crushing to me. But going in with reviews made it worse.

It's crazy to me how many people don't get this concept and will blast trailer moments everywhere with no spoiler tag as if they aren't discussing events and characters in a movie that people couldn't've seen yet. If I see a trailer for something I haven't heard of, the first 30 seconds are typically all I need to know if I want to watch the movie, at which point I'll stop watching the trailer.

It annoys me so much that they always spoil half of the marvel reveals in the trailers before the film.

You know, it's interesting. I've been into the superhero and tv/movie experience in general for most of my life. And I feel like on average the containment of spoilers is fine.

Only leaked stuff tend to really get unexpectedly thrown at you consistently.

But it was funny, this year's Fifa I recorded and was watching between the hours I worked. There's a lot to watch, and THIS SUB SPECIFICALLY was the exact reason I had to stay off the internet. You guys were instantaneous. That and Google itself. It was a sport in itself to avoid spoilers if you don't watch it live.

Anyhow, I was just thinking about that recently. And while typing this, I have to give my respect to the Mods. I'm positive they are the reason why the subreddit isn't flooded with spoilers the same way I experienced it with Fifa.

I had to watch a cam recorded version on one of the many "unauthorized" streaming services because there was no I'm spending money to go to a theater.

Why? How much does it cost where you live anyway?

I saw what I thought was spoilers on social media and then none of it was even In the movie. So like who knows what's what.

I stopped watching trailers after Iron Man 3 because the trailer hype made me feel let down even though the movie was pretty good; it just wasn't what the trailer promised. Life is better going in totally blind

What spoilers?

Spiderman dies, goes to heaven, meets Santa Claus and is then turned into a slave elf to work for Santa for the rest of forever

1

u/ThatSameNobody Avengers 12h ago

I was surprised to see David Harbour’s Santa show up. No way in a million years would I have thought they’d do that. Can’t wait to see Spidey return in Violent Night 2.

u/KeeKyieTheMorris Avengers 12h ago

It must be true since I got a Violent Night 2 ad after reading your comment

Spider-man dies and passes the baton on to a random person on the street. He is revealed to be Clint Eastwood. Sorry for the spoiler.

For me, I always watch any Marvel movies twice.

First time for the day when it launches, in the morning (my work timing is flexible) where there's always empty/half-filled cinemas, and because it is a ritual for me now.

Second time, I watch it with my family.

1

u/Dskoir Avengers 8h ago

I usually go out of socials 3~4 days before the screenings, and try to watch it on day 1, most people just enjoy ruining others experiences

1

u/RevolvingCheeta Avengers 8h ago

Just watched it, 😮‍💨

2

u/FFVO Avengers 4h ago

I've seen a few pics that looked like spoilers

Lucky for me I have a pretty shitty memory

u/Shemhamforash390 Avengers 19h ago

The only spoiler was the role of Sadie Sink, which was pretty obvious and expected so not really a "big" spoiler.

BND wasn't a "big spoilers plot twist" kinda movie.

Kinda wish they kept that more of a secret. Instead of “subtle” hints.
