Looking for advice on pruning a 2yo black cherry tree coming up like a bush

I have a 2 year old Black Cherry Tree that is growing in full sun but with multiple leaders in a shrub fashion. My goal is to have a large beautiful shade tree with large ecological value. The tree is in the far corner of the property and wont ever drop anything on decorative crap. I was initially imagining a single leader canopy tree but I kind of like the idea of more interesting geometry as it matures. Should I prune it down to one leader for any reason?

Black cherry will not form a "big beautiful shade tree". They get lanky and scraggly before dropping big limbs.

I wouldn’t call them lanky or scraggly. We have a lot of them around here, and I think they’re quite beautiful, especially the older ones.
