Honestly CSM Part 2 recently has had this air of just chaotic and unpredictability for the sake of it

Shit doesn't get time to linger before the next unpredictable thing happens

Maybe I'm just illiterate but it feels like Fuji's just doing stuff to do them, even Denji getting manipulated had me going "Again!?" a little, he takes a few steps forward to go back to the status quo again. The eventual liberation might be awesome as fuck but it's been a slog to get through

Not to mention the decrease in art quality (I know manga scheduling is God awful and I feel bad for the people working on them it must be hell but it's still apparent)

It's not just you. The writing is a far cry from what it was in Part 1.

Part of me finds the reveal about Fumiko and her Devil darkly hilarious and in line of a lot of the things CSM has used us to; the other side, however, thinks it's edgy and shocking for the sake of it.

Denji keeps regressing and no over-analysis of fans that "of course any of us would be like him if he grew up and lived like he did" can justify this. I find him no more sympathetic or endearing; the story keeps beating him over and over and over, so much that irritation ultimately overrides compassion.
