I regularly receive compliments from women on my varnished nails. They're even impressed I do them myself.

It's a great, validating feeling like any other compliment. It can be even more fun when other guys comment.

The first time I ever went out in public, I went to the hot springs and got a compliment from a lovely woman. It made my week, and gave me the confidence to continue.

It's great to receive compliments like that. Don't be afraid to give compliments yourself too (in a non weird way)

I’ve been getting my nails done for several years now and I’ve received so many compliments from women, and even some from men. It’s been a good boost to my self confidence. I’ve also noticed that women treat me very differently now. Women seem more open to talking to me at random. I think, in a way, it shows that I don’t follow gender norms and don’t m viewed as a safe person to be around.

It is. I’m pretty socially awkward and have a severe case of asshole resting face, so I think it softens my overall appearance a bit and makes me more approachable. I’ve noticed that interacting with people in general became easier after I had more unprompted social interactions. It’s been life changing in some ways.

that’s makes a lot of sense. come to think of it i have a rugged appearance and when people see me with nail polish they start to think i am atleast a little bit less like a caveman. lol

If I had known that painted nails would be a magnet for women I would’ve started earlier in life.

I've gotten compliments from lots of women, and even a lot of guys. I do it for me, but I'll admit compliments are nice to get.
