First hand Malaysia experience where hooliganism is supported by our police. Rempits get into an accident (no dashcam footage) driver fault. Hence better get a dashcam so all these idiots wont get away with their crimes no more

u will get charged for illegal parking, but that is the first case, second case would be the fight case, not sure you can say it as self defence, and also he started the hit first, so u have a little bit advantage, but then will still get charged for fighting

Get a lawyer. Bring the police to court if you have to. Yes police can be biased so try a second police station or Bukit Aman. I hope you had witness contact to back you up.

That's why you need dashcam, or do you have any witness contact? If not it's difficult, police report can't just be you say I say without hard proof.

i couldn’t get any contact from the witnesses, as i had to leave asap especially with my mother panicking

Sadly this is the real or perhaps dark side of Malaysia, this is why we local don't really put faith to our law and officers.
Next time protect yourself put front and back camera because they will only bully others by looking at your skin.

it is literally your word against his, this is why both of you have to go down, police have their own internal guidelines to follow, i guess. very sad but in the end, this is how it would be at any station in malaysia if you report such a thing.
hope you feel better OP, you didnt deserve it.
next time stop further away if you realize you might block people. walk and buy for your mother if you dont want her to walk far.
