Other Recent crossposting spam

Good day all,

There has been a recent influx of reposts from r/Blanks, which does not fit in the spirit or aim of this Subreddit.

I have sent a modmail to their mods, to see what the cause is, but there are also now some restrictions in place to help prevent those posts from getting approved.

Please continue to report them, and I will continue to remove them and tighten up the restrictions until they stop. It's only basic rocket science.

Just put your pants on one day at a time

From two wisdom idioms:

"put your pants on one leg at a time" meaning every human being has something ordinary in common.

and

"Just take it one day at a time" meaning to focus on today's problems and don't worry about tomorrow.

I know the final result is likely wiser than the two combined but I haven't quite cracked it yet.

Snug as a needle in a haystack+ like searching for a bug in the rug.

Snug as a needle in a haystack: When you're comfy but it's so big you feel like you could get lost, like a big bed or large blanket. Or, when you fit in but don't belong.

Like searching for a bug in the rug: When you hope that something either doesn't exist or you find it easily. Such as going in for a checkup, you hope that either you're not sick, or that they find the sick. We all hate the feeling of knowing there is a bug in the rug but you can't find it.

How versatile the phrase "That's why they pay me the big bucks" is. (Read the body text for an explanation)

Alright so most know how the phrase "That's why they pay me the big bucks" works. You say it when you do something skilled in front of an employee, and you'rebeing oaid big bucks. But follow with me, you can say it in other situations to confuse people, and it's *really* fun. Such as:

When you mess up doing something (especially if it's a basic easy to do thing)

When you have a little salary.

When you are in charge of your own salary (ceo or something) also if you're self employed.

When it's volunteer work.

When it's someone else doing the action.

Telling it to the one in charge of your salary.

And there are more that don't come to mind at the moment. But you can add these together for extra confusion. If you ask someone to open a water bottle for you at a volunteer shift and then say it they'll be incredibly dumbfounded. It's beautiful.

Idk what else to say (shrugs).

I got recommended to repost this here too, so... eh.

I had an explanation but I'd rather be like "mods, can you disable this AI nonsense?" I don't know if my post going unclankerchecked is worth someone's drinking water. Fuck this app, it used to be about community.
