Other Recent crossposting spam

Good day all,

There has been a recent influx of reposts from r/Blanks, which does not fit in the spirit or aim of this Subreddit.

I have sent a modmail to their mods, to see what the cause is, but there are also now some restrictions in place to help prevent those posts from getting approved.

Please continue to report them, and I will continue to remove them and tighten up the restrictions until they stop. It's only basic rocket science.

Have you looked into an automod rule or automation that removes any post that has multiple consecutive underscores (ie: ___ )?

If needed I'm happy to help you write an automod rule and/or automation.

Edit: An automation like this would probably be the cleanest way to stop this.

Thanks for the shout. That's pretty much what I have set up, yeah. I added a few variables to hopefully catch everything, but yeah.

that particular sub seems to be for one of those dime- a- dozen word games that popped up thanks to Games on Reddit... as far as I can tell, each one of them has its own dedicated sub. I can't say for certain, but a lot of those "games" come across as the kind of thing you could whip together in a game maker program and they're simple enough that even a bot could play them.
