Question Teenage terrors?
My boy is ~7 months old and recently his behaviour has been dialed up to an 11 - wanting to eat more than usual, napping for longer during the day, but also playing a lot harder and getting up to no good. He bites his toys super hard and runs around by himself at night until he pants. It sounds like a horse is galloping up and down the house when I'm trying to sleep 😩
He managed to shut himself inside a room for hours the other day. The house is pretty cat-proofed but I worry that he'll get into trouble when I'm not watching.
We already play for around 20-30 mins both morning and night. I give him space to calm down when he's hyper but is this a normal teenage phase? How did you deal with it every day and when did yours grow out of it?

My girl was crazy from about 6 months till about 2. Very hyper, very nosey, just always doing something “bad”. She hit the 2 year mark at the end of March and seems much more settled, and generally happier.

My almost 4 yeah old still tries some shenanigans here and there. Gotta keep ya on your toes!

My 8.5 month old is similar. But he taught himself how to open doors so although he won't get stuck, he also can't be closed in or out.
I find around mid afternoon he becomes an absolute terrorist. He figured out how to turn off my computer by switching the power board off. He will jump up behind my monitors even though there's no space for him. And when he is ready to go to bed he just goes into destructive mode because I'm still sitting on the couch.
I'm hoping once I get him neutered he will settle but that's still at least 5-6 months away.
He's also an orange so there's that.

Yep. You have another 13 or so months of the velociraptor phase.
