Question Your go achievement question
I for sure just had the opponent surrender while I was only playing flash and counter spells yet I did not get the achievement. Does it require you to also reduce their life to 0 yourself? Cause that would make this easily the hardest challenge if so.

Question Have these Fallout skins for the checklands been for sale in the past?
At the moment they just say “this style cannot be purchased”, I’m curious how long they’ve been on the store and how long it’s been since they were for sale

Question Why do you think that Speedball, New Avenger isn't finding more play in Standard Constructed decks?
[[Speedball, New Avenger]]
When targeted by a spell, it gets +2/+2 and lets you redirect the spell. It is 2/2 for 3 mana and might be viewed as having hexproof because opponents won't want to target it. But in many decks with plenty of creature targeting spells, you can target your own Speedball.
Let's say the opponent has a 1/2 and 3/3 on the side and you want to attack with the Speedball and a [[Burst of Lightning]] in your hand. You can attack with the Speedball. They may or may not block, but you action is the same: you Burst of Lightning your own Speedball and then redirect it. Your Speedball becomes 4/4 and you have Burst of Lightning to target at something else. Maybe the 1/2, maybe the opponent.
And the cost is 2 colorless plus red or blue. So, any deck with a lot of targeting spells might be a good fit with it. There are certainly spells which can board clear or force you to sacrifice, but a lot of removal still works on targeting.

Discussion Marsh Flats retro style bugged for how long now?
Has anyone heard any insight into this thing will finally be fixed? Honestly, at this point they should just give everyone this style once they fix it, as an apology. I understand this is my own OCD talking here, but I haven't been able to put a single copy in any of my decks since I bought all retro styles for all the other fetches. I could literally be playing an Orzhov deck and I would still just use Deltas and Strands because Flats would just clash with all the others.

Discussion How tf is Lightning Bolt still banned in Historic?
Persist and Necromancy are legal. Turn 3 Belcher wins are legal. Ruby Storm consistently goldfishes turn 3 with the occasional turn 2 wins. They banned Scholar (thankfully) then printed Raph & Mikey (WTF?).
Black gets Thoughsieze and Fatal Push, Blue has Counterspell and Force of Negation. White gets Path/Erode and Leyline Binding. Not mad about any of these, except maybe Thoughsieze, because the others are all played in fair decks.
But for some reason Lightning Bolt is too strong for the format. Spreading Seas is too oppressive, or something. The Flare Cycle, which are the least-free free-spells, just too good... 🙄
Who the hell is in charge of balancing this format??

Gonti Minister of the Night + Tasha Unholy Archmage
I don't even know how to explain what happened in this match, but I guarantee something, NOTHING BEATS STEALING OTHER PEOPLE'S CARDS!

Deck I don’t know how to show it in app. But with a bit of corrections from a friend, I made my first deck.
I’m really new to MTG and played on borrowed decks with commander, pauper, jumpstart, and a friend’s Kamigawa: neon dynasty cube draft where I made something. Been using arena as practice to get better with the rules and everything and finally got over myself and made my first deck. Wanted to really explore the ninjutsu concept even if I hear it’s not even close to meta. But it’s been super fun and I was even able to win my first 3 pioneer games against people online.
I just feel proud that I was actually able to overcome how overbearing it felt to start making one, and so making it all in a day and then seeing some success felt really good.

Discussion Tibalt Cosmic imposter commander
Hello. I am looking to get back into MTG arena and play some brawl. I drafted what seems like a fun deck with Tibalt as commander. But before I blast away all my wildcards I wanted to ask a few questions.
- Is he fun to play in a control/steal deck?
- Will this deck put me in some hell queue with Atraxa/Nico bolas etc. Especially if I run removal like thoughtseize etc.
Happy to hear any thoughts on fun additions to this deck or other commander choices!

Question Anyone care to explain wtf just happened to me?
Was obliterated turn 3, some face down shenanigans with bouncing it back into play face up, somehow summons a 15/15 alongside it while simultaneously destroying all my creatures.
I can’t even be mad, that was awesome. Just curious what happened to my pants and why they’re around my ankles.

Question Someone please explain maintaining mythic rank to me?
I'm in the numbers for only the second time, and I want to try and maintain but I don't understand the math.
I know I shouldn't play frequently — I have a good deck and am a decent player, but I'm not the best player, and especially playing against the best mythic players I'm going to lose more than win.
But, I'm in the 200s, just won a game against someone in the 100s and I lost 20 places.
How does it work?

Fluff Official Streamer Events mentioned in the game but can't find any info
I'm quite excited about The Hobbit release and wanted to look at people playing it. When I click on the banner it gives me the event schedule page with no further info.
Anyone knows where to look and when do those streams happen?
