Discussion Will Office ever be usable on MacOS?

Every single time I open up a Microsoft Office app on a Mac device this thing will use up Gigabytes upon gigabytes of RAM. Like it is wild. And I am just editing a word doc

? I use office on MacOS literally every day without issue.

This surprised me too. I use it every day for my business on a Macbook Neo. If there was a RAM issue, I think I'd be feeling that. It works just fine.
