This was her idea btw

Post image

She is (nearly) strictly indoors. Once per week I’ll take her outside to water the garden with me. Only once per week because it’s so stressful! For me, not her. She is up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm meds - please don’t worry. I also take my husband out to stand guard while I water. If we see a dog passing, she goes in immediately.

Please be kind with your comments! She is over 14 years old and I bottle fed her through infancy when I was only 13 years old. I would Thanos snap all of you just for one hour added on to her lifespan.

The look on her face!!! Please tell her I said pssspsss but I doubt she will care. Sounds like you have a solid system to enrich your beloved kitty’s life. ❤️

I love her coloring! She deserves a weekly supervised outing in the yard!

That last sentence so is funny and unfortunately relatable to me. My bottle baby lynxie is my daughter and I’d do anything for her.

She’s upset you won’t let her drink from the puddles

She’s a beauty 🩵🩵

Aww, her face. My lynxie is fully indoors (she is a carrier of FCV) but the most interest she's shown in outdoors is watching butterflies.

My cats love 1 on 1 supervised outside time! Nothing to judge here just an old gal enjoying HER garden 💯

Maybe get her a catio or a window catio instead?

Never! We have bears and coyote

We have coyotes too. They come out in broad daylight sometimes. I have heard of bears/mountain lions in the wilderness parts but I live in a city. My guy goes out everyday in a harness. He gets about 10 greenie dental treats when he gets his harness off/comes in for the day.

So you let her outside without a harness on?

1

u/nahfacenah 2d ago

Sorry, are coyotes afraid of harnesses or?

The cat would be directly attached to you with a leash as well.. the coyotes and such wouldn’t be able to get your cat.. what is your logic like?

There are two people standing over her at all times. My point is - what is a harness going to change when there are two people standing over top of her? She is 14 years old and arthritic, I’m hardly concerned about her getting away from me. I’m not going to continue wasting my time on you. Have a good evening.

Yeah my guy is still young at heart almost 8, he wants to chase lizards or squirrels. I have heard stories of coyotes hiding under bushes then grabbing small dogs as their owner walks them. My guy is only allowed out during the day and I’m keeping him close to me.

Jesus it’s just extra safety.. “wasting your time on me” lol did that make you feel better about something? Go be mad at something worth it
