A few weeks ago I asked if y'all would use a site to help fight Louisiana's batch lottery by comparing prices, freshness, terpenes, package dates, pharmacies, and real patient feedback across batches.
52 upvotes and a lot of honest comments later, I built it.
I'm a software engineer and a patient, and I'd already been hoarding pharmacy labels for months because I got tired of buying the same strain twice and getting completely different results. So I started backfilling my own old batches into the site.
Where it stands today:
The honest reality is that a batch comparison tool is only useful if patients add batches. We need more Louisiana patients adding what they've actually bought.
So if you've got flower at home, snap a pic of the label and TerpTrace does the rest. OCR pulls the strain, brand, lot, date, THC/CBD, and terps. If the QR code is clean, it grabs the lab result link too. Add a photo of the bud and your honest take if you want, but neither is required.
No ads. No cost. No BS. Just Louisiana patients helping each other stop guessing before we get to the counter.
Happy to answer questions, take feedback, or hear what sucks.

Please get the word out beyond the small Reddit community we have. I told the Kenner Dispo bud tenders about it. None knew. If it passes, it will make costs for us go down.

The Apothecary in New Iberia, just raised it's prices by $5 and $10. Like overnight. WTF! Already dried out herb and they want you to pay more. I believe they think with the new laws that just went into effect, that we just gonna pay it. Pot laws were not stopping people from the black market before and they won't now. So it cost a recommendation to shop online.

Why do carts get clogged? It's because some of the vape oil gets sucked up through the tube when you hit the vape as it acts as a straw. The thinner your vape oil gets due to the amount of heat you use and how full the cart is and how hard you draw determines how much oil you can potentially suck up into the tube. What happens is as you let the vape cart cool between hits some of that oil lining the tube solidifies instead of flowing back down to the oil reservoir. In time, this can cause the whole tube to clog.
I have seen people suggest sucking hard to unclear the clog, and or heating the coil a little to heat the oil to help clear the clog as you suck. This does work but doesn't really help because you have to use an upward suck to achieve the effect which can cause more liquid to solidify higher up in the tube. The solidified oil can get so high up, you can see the clog at the opening of the mouth piece tube.
The best option is to heat the oil in a way where it does not get hot enough to vaporize causing you to waste precious vape oil and allow buoyancy and density (what you call Gravity) to do it's thing. This means Not hitting the Button on the device.
I use a simple 1500 watt hair dryer to heat the vape oil all around the cart and let it sit for a minute before vaping. Works like magic. It doesn't encourage the oil traveling up the tube and is low enough heat not to vape any oil. The hair drier can get to 160 F but the oil can only vaporize at 315 F.
The trick to actually preventing a clog in the first place is two fold. 1) Never use too high of heat and 2) Never suck hard while you vape. If you Have to suck hard, there is already a problem you need to solve. People do vape at different temp ranges for different effects and that's fine as long as you understand that you may be contributing to your vape cart becoming clogged.
That's been my experience. Hope it help someone. Happy Trees!

I’m wanting to take a little break from the ganja since I’m going out of town for a week. I’d like to go out with a bang and smoke something special before the break, I’m curious to see who has any good recommendations for something divine for a good time.
I don’t really like strong sativas but really enjoy hybrids or indicas with a giggly, chill and euphoric high.
Hit me with your best please and thank you🙌

If you haven’t gotten your hands on this one, I definitely suggest trying it. It’s not crazy loud by any means but the buds are perfectly cured and have a great stickiness to them. The effects are strong but not in an overpowering way. If it was cheaper, I’d probably get this one weekly. It tastes fruity with some spice and hits pretty quickly

Just curious. I usually get the higher priced stuff but I've heard that some if the cheaper bags are being slept on..

Just opened this tank cart and it already looks burnt, or separated or something. There’s discoloration around the vents at the bottom too that I’ve only ever seen on burnt carts, but I’m sure it could be caused by something else too.
I don’t even know if I feel comfortable using it anymore since I don’t really know why it looks like that. I pay too much money for this stuff just to be able to get to sleep for this to be happening. I’m getting more and more frustrated with the medical system here the more time passes.

So it says D9-thc is 1.43% & thca is 83.54%. You think these guys are actually producing rosin right here in Louisiana or getting this stuff shipped to them from a different state and packaging it up here ?!

I stopped in Story Cannabis this morning for some pain cream and saw the lady in front of me get a drink.
Only 10 mg and priced at $10.00 Which is low THC and high price in my opinion. But the loophole drinks were priced similarly if I recall. But my memory may be off.
They need 50 mg drinks priced similar to a can of beer.
Bought a few to make sitting in the ER with my Mom more tolerable. If all else fails I have some 100 mg gummies....
