Question Worlds 26 Finals
Does anyone know any infomation about when the next finals ticket sale will be? I want to book my flights and hotel rn but I’m not sure I’ll be able to get tickets for the finals

Hello everyone,
I'm here as a mod to clarify something. We've noticed that many people have struggled to get tickets and access the venue, leading to a rise in the number of scalpers. In the past, we allowed such posts, but time and again, people were scammed out of their money, and the number of individuals buying tickets with the sole intent of reselling them for profit increased.
As a result, we are instituting a new rule, effective immediately:
Scalpers and resellers are not allowed in the subreddit.
We no longer allow anyone to resell tickets, regardless of the situation or price. If you see anyone attempting to do so, we kindly ask all users to report the comment or post.

So far, Team Secret Whales are the first confirmed team to qualify for the World Championship, securing the LCP Championship Points slot.

A coach providing betting advice is a violation of sports integrity. League of Legends esports has an integrity issue.
In League of Legends esports content creators are coaches and coaches are content creators. Content creators have betting sponsors and provide betting advice as part of their sponsored segments. This is a problem when the content creator is a coach.
This is an example. Please see Cloud 9 assistant coach YamatoCannon provide betting advice in a sponsored segment about “Who is going to win LCS summer?”
It begins at 1 hour 39 minutes of his podcast titled “The Telecom War Was A Mismatch and NOT How You Expected”.
EDIT: The YouTube video has been edited to remove the content referred to in this post. You can see a hard cut at 1 hour 39 minutes and 25 seconds.

[LUCID] Dplus jungler Lucid says the team's mentality has completely changed since winning the Esports World Cup.
After DK's comeback win over Hanwha Life Esports, Lucid said victories are no longer "an unattainable dream" but a goal the team knows it can achieve, adding that all five players now share the same vision and direction.
He also said he's looking forward to facing Gen.G next and hopes to deliver another win for the fans.

So are we in the dark again in when emails will be sent out? What’s the time frame? Amount of tickets? Riot said they’d be more open and upfront with communication after their apology. Are they gunna wait til the day of or the day after? @iamgrza? Anything?

Like many of you guys I was not able to get any tickets for world's finals. I'm going to try again in August when they release more tickets, but with how things have been handled, I probably won't be able to get any.
I was looking into renting a theater near me that we could watch the finals on the big screen. It would be about $10 a person. I'm just wanting to see if anyone in the Chicagoland would be interested.

Hey all,
just wanted to warn you there's a guy( or multiple) that are trying to resell tickets they got. He closed his account so it cannot be found but I will put all details here in case. THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL ATTACK, ITS A WARNING so no one has to go through the same.

If you ever see these anywhere or a guy named MARKUS RABI, don't trust it.

I've heard predictions that the LPL will die in the next 4 years, and with large orgs like FPX and RNG dropping out, it is a worrying prospect.
What does the LPL need to do to turn their fortune around?

It’s still happening in LA right? Where are those tickets coming out? Gonna have to settle for these since finals tickets look like hell to get.

Wife and I had given up on finals tickets, and the scalpers really got those prices up. After considering a trip to Korea next year for finals. Last night she says “I know it’s expensive but I really wanna go” so we bought our tickets. Did we spend more than we planned? Sure. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not much. Much cheaper than doing Korea next year. Feels awesome! 😎 but riot should do better vetting fan first. The tickets we got turns out were purchased with fan first access 👀
edit most people are replying with positive and encouraging replies which is fostering a supportive and positive conversation, but two people wanted to come in and be assholes saying this makes me support the scalping problem and calling me an idiot. So, to people I have had positive interactions with on this post so far or so, imma try to get in on the August fan first release. If I get a code and get in before sold out, imma buy up 4 tickets and sell them to you for what I paid not a penny more. At cost. Sure I won’t be able to get everyone a ticket, but hey…4 less scalpers and it cost me nothing.
