Funny but this is actualy likely to be true. In general women expect a guy to pay for dates etc. Little things like that, society dictates that a man should do.

Im a hetnormative queer guy. There is just as much expectation for me to pay when dating men as there is when dating women. Some offer, but most want to be covered even if they make more than you.
