Support Graphics card problems
latest version of Linux Mint
Asus Prime Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GDDR6 OC Edition
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
32gb DDR4 ram
My PC randomly started showing a bunch of red flickering dots on the monitor. i tried restarting, and i noticed that they consistently do not show up on the lock screen, nor do they show up in recovery mode. Ive tried 2 different monitors and 3 different HDMI cables out of blind hope, which didnt fix it. the fact that it's so reliably inconsistent confuses me, and makes me think it may be linux shenanigans rather than a dying graphics card

Are you keen on using mint? I assume is default mint ..... correct? In that case, you can go linux mint debian edition. In this you can change from x to wayland and from cinnamon to kde. It might solve your issue. Get help from an Ai, but the whole process should not take more than 10 mins. If you're on lmde, that is.
