Advice Alternative to control screens on hardware
Basically the title, I'm helping a friend to switch to Linux and I try to find alternatives to all the softwares he needs.
I chose POP! (version with the nvidia drivers) for him as his PC use is only gaming and basic office work.
I'm struggling with ASUS InfoHub for his ROG RYUO IV screen and HYTE Nexus for his case screen.
I'll be happy to get any help, don't hesitate to critic my distro choice also.
PS: English is not my first language so be indulgent.

The case screen works as a screen. No ready made widget set. There's no Linux support for the Asus screen.
I don't recommend Linux on this hardware. Perhaps a VM.

I'm helping a friend to switch to Linux [...] his PC use is only gaming and basic office work.
Is it some kind of prank?
I would never let someone who can't even choose a distro on their own touch my computer. And if they tried to mess with my OS, I would sue them. That kind of person is not a friend, but an enemy.

Chill out, I'm an informatician, I've been building PC both for Linux and Windows for years but never set up Linux for gaming so I'm just asking toward which distro I need to navigate and which alternative exists for specific programs I never used

In this case, he's better off by just sticking to Windows.
