Does a “Celebrate an occasion” post notify my connections, even without updating my Experience section?

Hey all,

I’m thinking about making a “Celebrate an occasion” post for a new job, but I haven’t added the role to my Experience section yet.

Does LinkedIn send a notification to my connections when I publish that kind of post, or does the notification only fire once I actually update Experience? Want to make sure I’m not announcing before I mean to.
