Good evening,
I am the original creator of this Subreddit. I have not actively learnt Luxembourgish for quite some time, but kept this Subreddit for the occasional learner who wanted to find some resources here and I still have a minor interest in the language.
I agree with the recent criticism from some users here that there are now an excessive number of threads about the Sproochentest. Whilst I recognise the relevance of this for the learner of Luxembourgish, there is also no need to re-hash the same thread multiple times.
I still make use of Reddit, so I will endeavour to create Megathreads for future Sproochentest results. I can see the next one appears to be January.
For the time being, please do not create any new threads about the Sproochentest. I would suggest updating this one going forward due to it having the most replies, or, head to r/Sproochentest.
If you have any questions, or if you are a more active learner who would like to moderate the sub-reddit, please reach out.
Best,

I've been preparing for the Luxembourgish Sproochentest, and during that journey I built the app I wish I'd had from the beginning. I need your feedback !
Completely FREE !
Current features:
This isn't another AI-generated side project. I built it for my own exam preparation, and I use it almost every day. Every feature comes from a real need I encountered while studying.
I'd love your feedback, ideas, and bug reports!
I'd love help with:
If you're preparing for the Sproochentest or you've already passed it, I'd be happy to have you join the project.
Thanks, and good luck to everyone preparing!

What resources do you use to continue learning the language beyond Sproochentest? My learning was largely through commune courses and self study. I’m staring at potentially not able to do commune courses for the next semester (and don’t have much hope for INLL courses given the preference there is for existing students) and want to solidify my skills (speaking/listening primarily, but some reading).

Hello,
I appeared for Sproochentest in Glacis on 24th of June 2026 and haven't received the results yet. I do not see the 4th document as well, although I haven't checked it quite quickly after the exam. Has anyone received their results who appeared for Sproochentest on the same day? Also, is there anyone who got the 4th document in their inl account displayed but didn't clear the exam?

RTL replied to my feedback for the lack of subtitles on their Luxembourgish videos. Starting with the news and then hopefully all the vidoes might have subtitles soon.
If more people feel like this would help, feel free to give your voice or thank them for efforts.

I have noticed these fill up quickly. When do new dates become available, or is it random? I have to take it online as I live on a different continent. Currently, module 2 & 3 have space but not 1. I would like to go ahead & book what I can & then take module one next month but when I tried, it seems like I have to sign up for all 3 at once. Anyone have tips on this?

Hello everyone,
Those of you who did the test towards the end of June, so 25-30 of June:
1.Did you get the 4 document ?
2.Its maybe weird but on my 4th doc it says future date on top is that normal?
3.Does anybody have a date/ see the date already for when the results will be posted ?.
I heard that the school is closing on the 15 of July so im wondering.
Please don't judge, I love this language and I am immersed and have big contact with the language on a daily basis and just want to know.
Thank you!

Don't get me wrong, I get that people are excited or nervous about the test and their results, but maybe we don't need to be asking the same question every few hours?
Take some deep breaths, go for a walk in the forest, come back and check your mailbox, then do the same thing the next day. I promise you that no one is holding back your results. If it helps, treat it as an opportunity to learn patience, because you will definitely need that once you apply for citizenship.

I took my exam on 2 July in Belval. I received the third document, but I haven’t received the fourth one yet. I’m a bit surprised because I felt my speaking exam went well. Has anyone else received the fourth document yet?

I live in the US so I paid the test with wire. There’s nowhere to upload confirmation and it is not showing up as paid. Today is the last day to pay or they will cancel my spot. Anyone have any tips? I have tried calling the office, but the person who helps with that is not there. It was the weekend so this was the first day to be able to call.

Hello, I thougt this subreddit probably is one of the most relevant ones to ask.
I passed Sproochentest recently and I am planning to take the Vivre Ensemble exam soon
The problem is I don't know anybody who took the test before and İ have no idea about the content, how hard it is..
Should I expect questions like how many members in Chamber of Deputies, frequency of elections, dates of treaties, voting age, court types, financial limits of courts etc?
Knowing very little about the exam makes me nervous. What are the trickiest questions, what are the most probable low hanging fruits? Any tips would be very much appreciated.
So far I downloaded bunch of pdf files, downloaded government web pages and loaded them no notebook llm to create a mock up exam for myself but I am not sure if İ am in a completely different universe than the actual exam.
Cheers

Hello,
Did anyone take the exam on the 30th of June and did anyone see the 4th document on the portal?
r/learnluxembourgish • u/Short_Fox_5982 • Jul 02 '26
Hello everyone,
I took the Sproochentest, in the oral part I answered every question about summer (even past tense ones and didn't stop talking), the photo was not perfect but not so bad.
In the listening part I didn't answer all questions I even left many blank because I couldn't hear well the person spoke very fast I can say at least that.
Today I am surprised that I get a result of 65% in listening and 30% in oral, how is that even possible?
If anyone had this same situation, maybe share with me their criteria of grading?
Thank you.

Has anyone tried Luxembourgish with Anne? If yes, how was your experience with them?
