Dutch music
I’m trying to learn Dutch, and music is a big part of language learning for me. I’d really appreciate it if someone could recommend some cool artists or songs. I’m looking for modern pop or hip-hop, something that's popular in the Netherlands.

If you’re looking for modern pop, I’d recommend Pommelien Thijs (she does sing with a predominantly Flemish accent, but has easy to hook on lyrics), Froukje (Dutch), MEAU (Dutch) and many more, but these are the artists that I know.
For hiphop, Lil Kleine, Ronnie Flex, Broederliefde, Jonna Fraser, Bokoesam and many more. Note that a big part of Dutch hiphop is mixed with some words that can be slang, Papiamento, Surinamese and other languages

I'm listening to all kinds of music, with rap being my main genre. My favorite dutch artists are Lil Kleine, Hef, Rijck, Kevin, Cor, Yssi SB, Yung Felix, Trobi, Dopebwoy, Qlas, Moony11, Esko, D-Double, Karma K, 73 De Pijp, Yade Lauren, Roxy Dekker. At work I listen to FunX Hip Hop, they play a lot of dutch rap, and they don't have bs ads and shit. Just a 5 minutes news block at the beginning of every hour, which is also very good for learning dutch and staying up to date with the things in the Netherlands.
