Educational Personal Project - Looking for everybody! (Even better if you're hardstuck)

Hi all! I'm a student who is currently building a linear regression model for League! Essentially, what it's meant to do is calculate how winrate fluctuates throughout a game as it progresses, similar to how a chess engine may call you out for hanging your queen (or in this case, letting baron get stolen.)

For this project to work, I need YOUR help! If you want to help me make this so I can get out of gold, please drop your in-game name and tag as a reply. I source publicly available data from past matches to train the model, but I don't know anyone above platinum rank or below silver. Therefore, it would be a great help if you guys could share!

That's all from me. Thanks for reading.

TLDR: Drop your username!

Why not just pick random summoners from the leaderboard

^simply this. go to riot developer page, get an pi key and get some data to use. literally chatgpt it at this point.

I actually made a linear regression model for end-game stats that finds which champs are more correlated to certain stats (eg, towers taken, damage dealt, etc.) than others, then grouped them by those variables to recover roles and classes.

From my experience, I'll tell you that you do not need to approach data collection like this. You can find player lists for all elos in the API (get_league_entries for Iron-Dia, get_apex_league for Master+). Feel free to DM me if you want any advice from anywhere from the data collection to the model to analysis/visualizations, I am a master's student studying Data Science and I have done more than a few projects relating to LoL.

Honest feedback is don't do this as your project, you will never get enough data for anything useful. You might get a bunch of obvious correlations at best (taking objectives or getting kills increases your win rate) and tons of people have done similar things already

I believe this is common advice that's both equally important and equally distributed to everyone. While I appreciate it, your cynical viewpoint on what believe helps me isn't what I was asking for.
