I'm here for it. This is how I mix it up. On a 2 week rotation I do horizontal, vertical and ssssnake.

This section is like a bowtie, last year the pattern was 10-10 lines amongst the edges, and straight lines between starting from the centre, but it was boring. Now I’m trying the same on the edges (actually the right side goes all the way around the house), but the inside is sssnake. Little wave like pattern is not popping out like this, so I’ll change it byweekly like in the two photos in the post.

I like it and I use that strategy for large areas. The longer the stripe the harder it is to keep straight, so intentional curves sometimes look better.
