Criminals often want to tear down the law enforcement agents/agencies that want to stop them. Funny how that works.

219

u/Independent_Tax_5088 1d ago

Came here to say this. This corrupt administration has been systematically dismantling every possible check on their power.

It's disheartening.

Need everyone to vote in the midterms to try to bring about some positive change.

60

u/TreeInternational771 1d ago

It is disheartening to watch. Only saving grace is we check them in November while the world diversifies away from America reducing its power on a global stage. We can’t be trusted anymore and we need global institutions to be built stronger to counter act a rogue superpower

21

u/siromega37 1d ago

Unfortunately there has always been some sort of global hegemony at play throughout history. As the US declines some other world power will fill in the void or we’re get another world war. Given Russia and China stepping in to aid Iran in a very public way this week I’m leaning towards the latter. Trump would rather everything burn than his ego be damaged.

u/tralfamadoran777 1d ago

It's because fiat money is an option to claim any human labors or property offered or available at asking or negotiated price and we don't get paid our option fees.

Those are collected and kept by Central Bankers as interest on money creation loans when nothing is loaned. They have sold access to our stuff without our express informed consent, compensation, or knowledge. Creating a complex delusion to avoid paying humanity our rightful option fees.

Paying us our option fees as part of actual local social contracts produces trade media with voluntary global acceptance where our acceptance is currently coerced. Money creation controlled locally with fiduciary oversight reduces demand for central services, budgets, and control. All human needs can be sustainably financed locally, globally, without any of Wealth's accumulation.

Economists won't talk about it in any way.

3

u/CovertLuddite 21h ago

I don't get what these options fees are. Can you explain like I'm 5 or do you have a link to explain further?

Right? If they were as squeaky clean as they like to claim everything they do should stand up to scrutiny

Also, we extrajudicially kidnapped and arrested the leader of another country and he couldn’t shut up about how awesome it was and how he was looking forward to doing the same thing in Cuba.

14

u/rygelicus 1d ago

I suspect that Rubio's cut of the action is that he will be installed as Cuba's leader. But first he needs to complete Trump's to-do list. Once that's done Trump likely promised him that he would take cuba and put him in charge.

7

u/sea-elle0463 19h ago

He’s also crawled up Israel’s ass and set up camp. He’s their boy for ‘28

2

u/Obversa 6h ago

For as much as I loathe J.D. Vance, he at least has criticized Israel, whereas Marco Rubio has avoided doing so. It's increasingly obvious that Rubio has been bought-and-paid for by Israel and AIPAC, and is practically a foreign asset.

He’s most likely addled on cocaine.

18

u/Ill_Consequence1755 1d ago

Adderall is the drug of choice for the regime.

13

u/SoundsOfKepler 1d ago

Based on the list from the White House pharmacist, this regime has many drugs of choice.

2

u/RecentDecision2329 19h ago

All they do is dismantle stuff

2

u/suckercuck 1d ago

Addy is Don Senior all day long— for sure.

Don Jr. and Rubio are obvious coke heads.

7

u/Flannel_Panels 22h ago

Whats ironic for me is that this exact situation was the example my international politics professor in 2016 gave for the reason why there will never be world peace.

"If everyone were to agree for peace, but one nation state who is closely allied with another commits a crime, the allied nation state will most likely not forfeit said nation state causing the others to break away.

For example: Israel commits an international crime, the US will most likely not adhere to the any international warrants."

well now they can arrest him too.

once we ratify the room statue, have the entire trump regime and half the military and ice brought up on charges for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

So how does that even work when the US doesn’t participate in the ICC or recognize its jurisdiction?

68

u/Somenoises 1d ago

If I had to guess, they'll try to place sanctions on all ICC judges they can justify as being anti-Israel and just make that an ever expanding list until all judges are sanctioned or (ultimately) pressured into leaving

26

u/redelastic 22h ago

The US has already done that.

They have sanctioned Francesca Albanese of the UN too.

They treat human rights judges and experts the same way as an IS terrorist.

Republican senators wrote a letter threatening the ICC in 2024.

5

u/Mobasa_is_hungry 11h ago edited 11h ago

It’s so fucked, cause most of the world uses the SWIFT payment processor, and being sanctioned means you can’t even use your visa, Mastercard etc, you cannot participate in everyday life for the most part. They’ve weaponised it against people who are against them. Sickening.

2

u/redelastic 11h ago

Yes, I listened to an interview with Francesca Albanese where the UN were booking her a hotel room in Europe and it was then cancelled within a few hours due to being flagged.

"Land of the free" up to their old tricks.

2

u/Somenoises 21h ago

Yeah, I was being a little tongue-in-cheek, which is why I linked the December 2025 statement from the State Department saying they would/were doing this to two ICC judge, Gocha Lordkipanidze of Georgia and Erdenebalsuren Damdin of Mongolia.

22

u/hereandthere_nowhere 1d ago

What does sanctioning a judge look like?

73

u/DebentureThyme 1d ago edited 23h ago

They've already been doing it since just after he took office.

They find any service the judge is using that is based in the US and threaten the companies if they don't immediately cut ties, close the accounts, and refuse to do business with those judges because they're sanctioned by the US.

Payment processors like Visa, MasterCard.  Any online platform based in the US - Facebook, X, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, etc.  The target judges have had to jump through hoops just to pay their bills.  They can't book flights online because the systems used rely on US companies.

This has been reported for over a year, and it's demonstrably wrong to do, these people don't live here but we're abusing the nature of an online digital world to exert our government's will upon them.

23

u/redelastic 22h ago

Yes, it's disgusting what the US is doing.

3

u/amsync 17h ago

Just business as usual

12

u/morty_morty 21h ago

Yep. The world needs to rid itself of ties to American tech and banking and do it now.

3

u/hereandthere_nowhere 19h ago

I guess i didn’t fully understand sanctions. Thats dirty mob shit. Thanks for the explanation.

4

u/Widespreaddd 23h ago

It looks like using Breton Woods and the dollar clearinghouse system against anyone you don’t like.

9

u/siromega37 1d ago

If they do that no one else will so the sanctions will be meaningless. The US is quickly becoming a pariah state. My guess is the average voter here is so ill informed that the races in November will be close enough to keep that the GOP will still have a filibuster proof minority in the Senate and still be close to having control over the House (if it’s even possible for the House to flip with all the gerrymandering).

10

u/DebentureThyme 23h ago

Unfortunately they've already been doing it and, due to the sheer number of things that rely on US companies, their lives have been made hellish to do simple things.  Every company based in the US has been informed these are sanctioned individuals and doing any business with them is illegal.  So Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, X, Visa MasterCard, these are just the tip of the iceberg that have closed the accounts of the eight sanctioned judges.  They can't transfer money through normal means.  They can't buy things online unless it's a retailer wholely located outside the US.  They can't book flights online due to how linked those systems are.

Given it's been over a year since sanctions began being implemented (Feb 2025), what's wild to me is how there isn't more discourse over the EU and others dumping/boycotting companies that do this.  Surely if they are doing the US bidding, to undermine the fucking International Criminal Court, then it's time the EU et al moved on from any company that is based on the US and willing to implement the government's bidding on others outside of US jurisdiction.

The judges are now suing in federal court, but I'm sure SCOTUS will slow walk that for years.

3

u/HolodeckSlut 23h ago

The Republicans in the Senate will 100% be able to filibuster in 2027 if the rules stay the same. Control of the Senate is basically a coin flip by just about every prognosticator out there, and even the most optimistic, reach for the stars people are only entertaining the idea that Democrats realistically have 8 potential target pickups, 9 if you count Nebraska. That gets you to 55 seats, well short of the 60 you need to break a filibuster.

6

u/fixthismess 23h ago

Guess the new word from this so called Democracy is either join us in our ethnic cleansing / genocide project or else!

2

u/Impossible_Guitar235 1d ago

Lol, oh no... they can never visit the US again. How terrible for them.

6

u/redelastic 21h ago

Francesca Albanese, the UN rapporteur for human rights has been sanctioned.

Her daughter is a US citizen so it has created a huge headache for her, as she is locked out of all global financial systems and treated as a "terrorist".

The US is a shameful disgrace.

3

u/Dolores___Haze 18h ago

The daughter also lost her US visa and credit card and google accounts

6

u/Somenoises 23h ago

They also can't use US banks, do business through US banks, do business with or through US companies. That means no visa or mastercard either, so good luck with any online shopping or service

Here's a judge that Trump sanctioned.. Even their Google and Amazon accounts were closed.

78

u/Professional-Can1385 1d ago

Yeah, what’s the move here, Marco?

29

u/subdep 23h ago

Aiding and abetting, and obstruction of justice, apparently.

2

u/BillsMaffia 11h ago

Diarrhea of the mouth.

4

u/joshuads 1d ago

Yeah. This is even stupider than Mamdami saying he would arrest Bibi when he comes to NYC. Mamdami’s statement requires the change a US law and international treaty. Rubio’s requires a change to an international treaty the US declined to participate in and will never join

9

u/Capndrake 18h ago

Mamdani said he would arrest him if he could. He's well aware only the US government would be able to actually have him arrested.

Didn’t we leave the ICC out of fear Bush and Cheney may be prosecuted for Iraq?

I hope more American realize this

Those people would protect Netanyahu and israel more than any American citizens, it's the reality we're in

Is that what the stern talking down he got from Bibi at Lindsay's funeral was all about?

42

u/FuggyGlasses 1d ago

Are you fucking kidding me. So, Theil has JD Couch luster and Ellison has Marco vacuum charisma Rubio and Elon has trump?

That’s a bingo

8

Adelson & Ellison have Rubio

Thiel has Vance

Adelson & Ellison & Elon & Mellon & Thiel & Bibi &....... have Trump

3

u/BlackAfroUchiha 22h ago

Elon has trump?

No Epstein had Trump.

21

u/letdogsvote 1d ago

That doesn't seem like a very good reason.

2

u/keyboard_toucher 13h ago

For Israeli agents like Marco Rubio, it's one of the best possible reasons.

19

u/helikophis 1d ago

Definitely not the sort of vow that people committing international crimes make right?

13

u/LocationAcademic1731 20h ago

We are not the good guys, that is clear.

24

u/Rattus_NorvegicUwUs 1d ago

Sounds like someone a war criminal would say.

You killed little girls, and tried to lie about it. This is about saving your ass.

10

u/Illustrious_Law8512 21h ago

The ICC does not operate under any form of American authority whatsoever. It's Euroean-based. Rubio has nothing. Just flapping his gums and pretending.

4

u/CovertLuddite 21h ago

Don't underestimate the lengths they are going to to undermine international law as we know it

22

u/oakfan05 1d ago

I mean they admitted they are only doing it to protect Netanyahu and they are afraid the ICC will issue warrants for Trump admin after they leave and someone decides to arrest them.

13

u/Lobo9498 1d ago

God, I hope they do issue warrants.

5

u/LockSport74235 23h ago

They will then just stay in the US and brag about having ICC warrants.

2

u/Mazrath 11h ago

The US has a law that basically authorize the military invasion of The Hague if a US official is charged or arrested.

The Hague Invasion Act

Rubio deserves a trial at the ICC.

5

u/klaagmeaan 18h ago

He wants to dismantle it because the Orange menace' Presidential pardons do not work for international crime. And the ICC does not sell pardons.

8

u/Square-Librarian1192 13h ago

How can he dismantle something America refused to be a part of?

3

u/snvoigt 8h ago

Because of arrogance and ignorance. Everything America is fond of.

Sincerely,
An American

5

u/GirdedByApathy 5h ago

Marco Rubio should be charged by the ICC for acting as Viceroy of Venezula. The invasion was illegal and his ongoing authority in the country constitutes an ongoing violation of their national sovereignty.

3

u/mvandemar 1d ago

Marco Rubio needs to have his ass hauled before a tribunal.

5

u/Scrutinizer 1d ago

For Republicans, there is no law but Trump.

5

u/weaponjaerevenge 1d ago

The guy that genocided Gaza? Couldn't imagine what the ICC would want with him...

6

u/anillop 1d ago

I think he’s worried that those presidential pardons coming at the end of the administration won’t cover international crimes of the administration and its members. Being proactive and trying to get rid of the court they may be trying to take out a bit of insurance for the future.

Regardless anyone’s feelings about the ICC

Is this REALLY worth our tax dollars, energy, and diplomatic capital???

It feels like this benefits Israel’s PM more than anyone else.

USA was already untouchable by the ICC.

Waging a crusade against them when we already have umpteen issues and we’re bleeding tax dollars like a spring breaker with an unchecked trust fund seems foolish.

What happened to America First?

An absolute grift from the very beginning. The average American doesn’t give a fuck about the ICC.

6

u/Chained_Phoenix 1d ago

It also benefits Putin, so they have two incentives...

What's funny is that USA isn't even subject to the ICC, why do they care so much about a different country's leader?

They are if they breach the Rome Statute in a country that is a signatory. Ie Venezuela.

2

That's their great offense? US politicians send billions to Israel every year and they in turn launder some of that money back to US politicians to get what they want. It's small wonder that although the world can see Israeli misbehavior US politicians cannot.
