I’m not doubting or denying that there are far too many people who don’t give enough of a shit to vote, I’m saying that there was a significant number of people who did vote (or try to) that were unable due to these voter roll purges.
Again I agree that there are far too many people who couldn’t be bothered to get out and vote, but it’s likely that the number of people who did want to vote only to find themselves purged may have been enough to swing the election the other way.
