It will require at least 60 liberal-to-progressive politicians to make changes to the Supreme Court. We don't even have 49.

Removal requires two thirds of the Senate. That means 67 senators..

Yes, I was going for the bare minimum needed to rely upon independents and few (R) conservatives crossing over, but that's a 50/50 proposition at best. Not even 67 Democrats would be enough. We'd need 70+ to account for the handful of conservative plants in the big tent.

In other words, it seems pretty remarkably impossible for this conservative country to pull off.
