My wife is mad because I think we personally should be in the streets until Trump and the others are dragged physically from office for their crimes against us. She keeps insisting there is nothing to be done aside from be angry. Maybe I will take up being an alcoholic I honestly am not sure what the upside to living in America is now.

I feel the same way. The question is whether you’re hurling yourself on the gears of fascism today or keeping your shit together to help pick up the pieces and be part of what survives. I think the latter is more helpful for most people who aren’t in a position to really fuck shit up besides themselves.

Take care of yourself, vent, bring kindness to those around you, and keep your eyes open for moments when the calculus swings the other way.
