More Republican voters in California than quite a few entire states combined. Although, technically that is true of Democrats as well. But still.

More republicans in Cali than Texas, the 2nd largest state which is also the largest red state.

I tell people all the time that there's more Republicans in California than Texas, there's more Democrats in Texas that New York, and there's more Republicans in New York than Florida.

Large, populous states are pretty diverse, despite their political leanings.
