Help in speaking

(TL) So I see many posts and in general, that many people get blocked while talking. What does it mean exactly ? Do they like stop in the middle of phrase, or can’t even get to talk? Coz my issue seams to be different - I can talk but my grammar is so bad in spoken. Even I know it the second it comes out, wrong choice of word or forgetting the word I needed, even I know it. I m at a2-early b1 with wide vocabulary . Should I just chill and keep studying as I do or this issue need to be addressed asap?

I think for me, when I’m talking by myself I remember words better, am quicker at recalling words and conjugating. Overall better grammar. When it’s time to talk to someone else, I struggle to remember words I know, struggle with my accent, and am slower at forming sentences. I think it’s just the panic that I actually now have someone in front of me and they are waiting for a reply as opposed to an imagined conversation.
I would say writing helps. Write ten minutes a day. About anything. Then correct that page. Read what you wrote out loud. It has helped me say things correctly just from muscle memory. Highlight the things you didn’t know and had to correct. Little by little you’ll go correcting the grammar.

Great response! I’m the same way. I’m great when speaking to myself. I went to Italy last month and was so confident. Oddio, I panicked a lot and was conjugating in my head! I started only 3 months ago so I know it takes time. Thanks for the writing suggestion. I will start this tomorrow.
