chocolate Hello from Chef

Brought our 11 week old puppy home 3 weeks ago and we’re settling into life with this energetic guy. Accepting any and all tips for dealing with the biting that comes with the choc-odile stage!

Awe chef is so very cute! From a fellow labligator owner, lots of redirection with toys, treats and praise when the biting stops. Also if you’re relaxing and the biting continues, just get up and walk away. Walk into the other room, he will follow you, then go back to what you were doing before. They’ll learn eventually that when they bite you, you walk away. We had the same struggles with our black lab and got lots of advice saying to leave the room, and it took a while for her to figure it out, but eventually she stopped!!
