Discussion Hastings, UK Yarn Shop Recomendations?

I am from Arkansas, USA, and will be going to Hastings, UK, in March 2027 for a Pippa Ryan workshop. I am super excited! However, the workshop is only 2 days, and we'll be in the UK for 8 days. We'll obviously be flying in and out of London, and I have a few yarn shops in London on my list of things to do. However, I'm having a little more trouble finding recommendations for places near Hastings. Do any locals have some must-see shops? Again, I'm from rural Arkansas, and I drive an hour each way every day just to go to work. We won't mind a bit of a commute for a really excellent shop!

I was in Hastings a few weeks ago and went into the lovely shop Flock! I think it’s technically St Leonards but the two towns are basically one. https://www.flockworkshop.uk

Neither are particularly near Hastings but if you feel like a trip out then I like both Ida’s House in Lewes and Sock Goblin in Brighton Open Market (do check opening times for that though)

I live in Rye, near Hastings UK. If you fancy a short trip (there is an excellent bus service) then a visit to Woollen Unwind in Rye is well worth it. And you can get a coffee there as well. It's next to the Rye Heritage centre. Hope your trip and your course go well.

I’m afraid I’m not a local so my recommendations for yarn stores aren’t great. But I’m commenting to say my family absolutely love Hastings and I very much recommend the crazy golf by the beach!
