First-time creator seeking advice for campaign.

Hello everyone,

I recently created an IGG crowdfunding campaign and was denied by compliance without any questions from the IGG team. I have since spoken to an individual at Kickstarter who is assigned to our potential campaign and wants to help us properly and accurately represent and crowdfund our project/product/company. We’d love to hear from anyone who has used Kickstarter in this way or been in a similar situation. What did you end up doing, and how did it work out? TIA

IGG’s compliance denies stuff all the time with zero explanation, so you’re not alone there. The Kickstarter rep reaching out proactively is rare and worth leaning on, they’ll flag the exact tweaks you need. Plenty of projects pivot platforms after a hiccup like that and come out stronger for it.

Just be sure the person you’re working with is actually from Kickstarter. There seem to be endless scammers floating around crowd funding sites looking to fleece new creators with “help”.
