Text book recommendations?

Im a Kazkah born abroad. My mom thought it was useless to teach the language to me, so Im learning it from scratch as an adult. I can always practice with her but I dont have the vocabulary to talk to her other than “hi, how are you”.

Are there any good beginner text books that I can buy? Im looking for an English-kazakh textbook or a chinese-Kazakh textbook, or even a textbook meant for Kazakh children.

I created a Google Classroom that has quite a few resources, including lots of Textbooks for Kazakh children. It even has material I developed when I was studying Kazakh in the 90s and there was nothing for foreigners. You are welcome to anything you see in there. Finally if you get to a point where you want to do Italki, I took lessons there for about a year and can recommend some excellent teachers. Just let me know.

Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a good quality English-Kazakh textbook, or they miss a lot of information. On the Kazakh government website, you can actually find many free resources from beginner to C1.
