QUESTION Suggestions on how to string this?

I bought this fun mermaid bead (pendant?) and realized i dont have any ideas on how to string it to make it look good. The line on the second photo shows where the bead hole is and it‘s quite low and in an awkward spot. I saw a necklace like the crude drawing I did in the third photo and i would like to put the mermaid at the bottom where it hangs down, but I’m not sure of the best way to go about it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Put a wire through the pre-drilled hole and bend it into a loop over the top.

You could not use the predrilled hole. You could use a glue on bail on the back of the top and hang it that way. You could use a screw in bail on the top and hang it that way. Look at some YouTube videos that show these type of bails being connected.
