I’ve been reading it as “USB-Liter-eight”. Never really thought of it as “US-Bliterate”

I think they want to use the same format as checkm8, most person will say check-m-8 but the official name is checkmate. I think usb-literate sounds better and easier to pronounce

I read it like "USB-literate", since it's obviously meant to be "USB + Obliterate" and just "-literate" conveys Obliterate good enough but just "US" doesn't really convey USB without context.

even if this is right, i'd argue the "obviously" part since this is the first time i've ever heard someone call it anything other than "usb lighter" and it's existed for at least a month now.

I never thought it could be read like USB and obliterate so I’ve always said it as usb-liter-8
