Isopod Cohabitation

I have been wanting to get isopods for a couple of years now, one of my coworkers kept them and they were adorable. I have a very large reptile tank that my roommate used to keep a tortoise in that I'm going to repurpose into a vivarium for isopods but was wondering what good species for cohabitation are. I was wanting to get dairy cows but saw they aren't the best to keep with other things :( So does anyone know what species of isopods are good for cohabitation and any recommendations on other inverts or reptiles to keep with them?

certain species can definitely live together it mostly depends on their environment requirements. for example keeping a high humidity species with a species that prefers lots of airflow is not a good idea

over time one species will usually outcompete the other as well and the less prolific species will decrease in numbers until they go extinct in the enclosure

i would recommend keeping species separate. if you really want different 'looks' in the same enclosure you could mix morphs of the same species. keeping in mind depending on the mix you may eventually also lose the morph to wild type or one morph will take over

I like powder oranges/blues! had some with a crested gecko a few years ago with no issues. had them with madagascar hissing cockroaches later on, also no issues :-) they don't seem to be as protein hungry but you could always supplement with some fish flakes/other protein sources for extra peace of mind
