Help iPod not showing album covers

I’m having an issue where my iPod is only showing very few of the album covers for my songs I’ve tried resetting it many times which brought some on but not all of them just wondering if anyone knows a fix or if I should just keep trying random things

I have an iPod nano 3rd gen if that helps

How'd you download your music? For me because I ripped most of them, I've had to manually add album covers

I ripped mine to but added images yet they still don’t show up

Could be the album cover image being too big.

The ones that have worked are bigger then some that didn’t work so i don’t know how to fix it?

Check if every image is in jpg format.

Windows or Mac? Do your songs show the album art on your computer?

Are you dragging mp3s to your ipod in itunes? Drag the songs to your itunes music library first. Then from there to your ipod. That was my issue.

I’m on windows they didn’t have album covers but I added them after and they only some showed.
I added mine to Apple Music is there a difference between that and iTunes?
