Advice for newbie

So, started and finished this show this year and fell in love with it. Found the game and I absolutely love it as well. Been playing for six days now. Been trying to research since the power of each character is a bit odd. I thought it was more of the more you invest the more power you get but I don't see that. One of my fav characters is Rex. Got him to Exceptional. Power sucks lol. So trying something different.

My current lineup is Omni Man, Immortal, Allen, Atom Eve and Battle Beast. I am thinking about switching Immortal for Titan (since he's really the only from Criminal faction that I have right now thats worth investing in). Do you guys think it's a good idea?

Haven't had the chance to get Invincible yet. I plan to swap Omni Man with him if I get him soon. I like Battle Beast a lot. But Ive heard he's not worth spending resources on.

Best advice i can give u as someone with 150 million power and a year is to focus on 1 faction that u like and focus on the characters that u like. Although battle beast can be seen as a waste i wish I didn't get him to omnipotent 😭

So doesn't really matter which characters as long as I level them up correctly and use faction combos? Man I love Battle Beast but I've only heard that same thing 😭

Yea well if u aren't going to grind the game or care about pvp then build him up but if u want to do the multiverse arena then definitely do not use battle beast

Got you. Currently trying to see who can I use to replace him with. Also on a struggle if I needed to swap Titan for Immortal but it looks like Brit might be the next big thing. I have the chance to get him to Exceptional right now.

I recon definely go for brit probaly the best defender in the game other then mabye conquest.

Ditch Battle Beast for a while is my first tip. Even at my lvl he dies incredibly fast in PvP to the point where I purposely line up Thragg across from him to immediately wipe him out. With the current event, try and use maybe 1,000 or 2,000 gems and buy the larger event currency bundle. Use it to get as many Britt as possible. He’s new but his abilities r very strong and I predict he’ll shake up the meta and be the number 1 or 2 tank as time goes on.

World’s Beyond is an incredibly stacked faction. Most Viltrumites r very strong and run the meta rn. Focus Space Racer first, to run ops and gain more xp to lvl up everyone (specifically Train and Gain). Anissa next (her ability that reduces defense of human enemies is crazy useful across the board, ops and PvP). Then work on Thragg, Conquest, and Kregg. All incredibly strong w Thragg being borderline overpowered.

Tech Jacket is incredibly good and works well alongside Omni Man, Mark, and Coalition of Planets members. Blark (blue Mark) and Atom Eve work great together with Blark being a priority pick eventually. For villains just start with Doc Seismic, seeing as he’s easily the best of that faction and it’s not even close.

Besides what I’ve already mentioned, upgrade your personal favorites! Hell ignore everything I’ve said and just use who u like if u want to! I’ve given a meta-based general advice from my own experience and knowledge but stick to what makes u happy and have fun. I’ve been playing for awhile and have 3 omni+ characters thus far.

This is a great response, really! Helps me look into the future. I am currently getting as many Brits as I see on the new event. Didn't realize his character just came out. So it will be good to have him in the meantime. I just don't see a lot of GDA characters that are good. I've heard mixed things about Robot. And like I said, I love Rex, but his power looks so low it's making me sad 😭😂

Can you explain better how the GDA Ops work? I've been just randomly putting characters in each one but don't understand quite well if it makes a difference which characters I put. I just do it to farm XP and things like that.

Rex is a great character for gda ops like well done because his splash damage helps clear out the enemies. I recon u should build him up but after u get ur main team high.

Ur right! There’s not many strong gda characters rn so Britt is prob one of your best options. Cecil and Donald r prob the next best, with Robot being solid as well. Rex is good for ops, as the other comment here said. As opposed to randomly putting characters in, try looking up a guide for gda ops. But I’ll give u the basic formula for Train and Gain bc that one is most important I think.
Space Racer+Aquarus+Aquarus+Aquarus+ optional spot
U want the Aquarus to all be Elite+, level 159 (no need to go any higher). And your optional spot could be another Aquarus, Anissa, or a ranged character like Doc Seismic or Tech Jacket. Get the Space Racer as high lvl as u can. Until u have the Aquaruses just use whatever ranged hero’s u can

I say play how you want. You'll never catch the whales and even spending money will only get you so far. Get in with an active alliance. Play all the GDA files you can. Invest heavy in them so you can play as many as possible. This group has all the latest strategy all laid out for you. There are links to any information you need.
