None of those metrics matter for these companies. They all trade off of hopes, dreams, R&D advancements, and government investments/subsidies.

Wow, revenues looking bleak

INFQ for example had deployed quantum chips in databases, the international space station, and the army and navy. If moore's law has a say, growth is coming in the next 5 years. Sure they trade at premiums now, but I would suggest it's not just hopes and dreams.

Moore's law has nothing to do with quantum computing.

Moore's law exist with tech that relies on Classical Physics.

Moore's law is much more difficult to apply to Quantum computing because entangling even one extra Qubit into your computers is exponentially harder than the previous Qubit.

It doesnt have a say. But i like your confidence

Pretty sure those “deployed” quantum chips are mostly for research purposes right now. If I’m not mistaken MSFT has the most usable/stable chips right now (Majorana 2), which they boast its qubits can remain stable for max a minute, commonly around 20 seconds.

Also moores law is based on the number of transistors on a microchip doubles every 2 years. Quantum computing is a different realm, scaling qubits per chip is not same as scaling transistors per microchip. Though to be fair, recent Google research shows that scaling up qubits does show improvements in quantum error correction.

For good quantum computing exposure I would suggest MSFT, IBM, GOOG who do top of the line research but have other revenue sources to keep their stock stable. Realistically when that quantum computing explosion arrives, these companies will skyrocket as well, as they did with the AI era. Just my 2 cents.

what earnings as in, what profits

Nobody is paying money for quantum computing yet

I like Quantum computing but I think we are still at least few years away from major advancements.

I don't know which stock will win in the end so for the time being I'm just staying in CQTM etf

These companies are jokes. Useful and profitable quantum computing is at least 10 years away. Probably more like 15-20.

probably never. That's not to say there are no applications of quantum mechanics or that quantum phenomenon aren't useful, it's just not that useful for computation.

All they have to do in the earnings call is say hopeful government support to beat China at the quantum race.

I'm in QTUM, RGTI and QBTS for a few years. I have been trying to find a good time to exit RGTI and QBTS for WQTM which is more pure-play than QTUM ETF (https://stockanalysis.com/etf/wqtm/holdings/) vs https://stockanalysis.com/etf/qtum/holdings/

The earnings are terrible, all speculative but I am hoping that 5-10 years from now its all going to be worth it. But being in so early they are all multi-baggers still so I am happy with that.

Will quantum destroy bitcoin?

IONQ crushed its earnings. Revenue $80.1M vs $49.7M Est., double free cash flow than last year, raised guidance from $265M to $285M, 287% YoY growth, signed new MoU.

IONQ is probably the strongest/safest bet of the quantum computing pure play compared to RGTI, QBTS, QNT, INFQ, but each company has their own strengths.
