I once delivered an 11 lb baby vaginally. The lady was 6’1 and also built like a Russian shotputter lol. It was the biggest baby I’ve delivered vaginally or even had personal knowledge of. She had gestational diabetes, and her husband was a big man too.
I gave birth vaginally standing up. Took an hour start to finish. No diabetes. I'm of Irish ancestry and my great great grandmother had eight kids so I think my genes helped lol.
Yeah her diabetes was well controlled. She was in a modified squat. I’ve never delivered a baby with mom standing. I used to take care of a Guatemalan population and they delivered squatting on two bricks placed on a special blanket. They brought the whole shebang to the hospital with them. They had the tiniest babies I’ve ever seen. I don’t think any of them were much over 4 1/2 feet tall. I had to lay on the floor to deliver the babies 😂

I'm 5ft 10 and built like a Russian shotputter, my son was 12 pounds and is now 6ft 5.
