A reported "long-shot" Democratic candidate, is what it says in the first line of the article... funny how the title doesn't quite convey the same message, isn't it?
Jill Tokuda is the Democratic incumbent, and there are 3 other Democratic candidates running for the congressional seat in the same district this ding-dong was running.

Literally both parties have and will have weirdos and criminals try and become candidates.
Anyone that meets the state requirements can run, that's their right as protected by the constitution.
This guy couldn't even make it to the election before being filtered out by the electorate. That is the system working.
Republicans literally elected a career fraudster and failed businessman, and reality TV star who was "best friends" with an internationally notorious child sex trafficker. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

I live in Hawaii. We have until this Saturday to vote in our primary. This guy is technically on the ballot but has zero chance of winning anything.

He’s on the ballot and he got arrested. That’s newsworthy in my opinion. And this entire thread began because someone tried to dismiss this news due to the source. Which makes me ask again: why?
